Jason MacKenzie

Jason MacKenzie is Director of Strategic Development at College Green Group, Visiting Industry Fellow at Birmingham City University and former national President of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR). Jason is expert in integrated marketing and public relations, a strategic campaigner, and an advocate of persuasive communications.

He speaks on issues facing businesses and other organisations in today’s rapidly-developing media landscape, from fake news and populism, to Brexit and behavioural economics. He is in demand speaking and advising on the importance of cutting through noise and nonsense, to deliver measurable results.

Many communicators and industry spokespeople revere influence. Jason believes that it is a means to an end: unless influence leads to people taking action, it’s ineffective and it’s incomplete.

Jason speaks to corporate and not-for-profit audiences fed up with spending money on marketing or PR – and not knowing whether it’s a dead cost or a valuable investment.

He is a highly experienced consultant, and is also one of only a handful of practitioners in the world to be a Fellow of both the CIPR and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) as well as a Founding Chartered Public Relations Practitioner and a Chartered Marketer.
