Andy Bounds

Andy Bounds is European Union correspondent in Brussels covering Brexit, trade, health and European politics for the Financial Times. He is also Netherlands correspondent and a frequent contributor to the FT’s Europa Express newsletter.

He was formerly Enterprise Editor and North of England correspondent at the Financial Times based in Manchester where he covered business, political, transport, housing, and social affairs in Yorkshire, the Humber, the North-west and north Wales online and in print. Andy possesses a comprehensive knowledge of issues affecting the north of England, be they of regional, national, or European influence.

Andy Bounds was previously posted in Brussels between 2004 and 2008.
