Sue Saville

News journalist Sue Saville specialises in medical and health coverage, with more than twenty years of broadcast experience.

After working for RHK, Radio Hong Kong, she became a regular for BBC Breakfast News before moving to ITV. With ITV News Sue was Chief Medical Correspondent, spending fifteen years covering national and international news. Her work at the forefront of investigative journalism uncovering the hospital infections scandal and the rise of MRSA saw her achieve numerous awards. At international level she conducted interviews with President Nelson Mandela and covered of the handover of Hong Kong to China.

As a writer for The Times Sue covered the aftermath of the Rwandan Civil War and the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, Prime Minister of Israel.

As a media coach and PR trainer, Sue has spent many years training Royal Navy officers, from the First Sea Lord down through the ranks. She was the first and only woman to date to be invited to give the Trafalgar Night Dinner Speech as guest of the Admiral of the Fleet on an aircraft carrier at sea.

In recent times Sue has delivered for organisations including the Association for Healthcare Communications, NHS Live, RBS Healthcare and the World Federation of Neurology including the difficult subject of dementia care.Today, Sue Saville is a superb speaker, moderator, host and media training practitioner. Sue reported through 2020 on Covid-19, the Coronavirus crisis, public health responses and during the vaccine roll-out.
