Ella Whelan

Ella Whelan is a freelance writer and public speaker. She comments on political issues with a focus on feminism and free speech, provoking some sharp debate and controversy.

In 2014 Ella joined spiked, the online political magazine dedicated to free speech. She is now the deputy editor of spiked review, a monthly arts and letters publication. She has published lively interviews with Slavoj Žižek, Fiona Shaw, Camille Paglia and Lionel Shriver.
