John Harris

John Harris is a journalist and writer, and a columnist on The Guardian newspaper.

He writes on subjects that include politics, popular culture, and music. His writing and his speaking addresses fairness, equality, and the inequalities in UK society today. John has written for Q, Mojo, Rolling Stone, and The Times and he has presented BBC Four documentary The Britpop Story.

His first book was The Last Party: Britpop, Blair And The Demise Of English Rock. His second, in 2005, was a primer for disillusioned Labour voters of the time entitled So Now Who Do We Vote For?
