Rasmus Ankersen
In 2012 Rasmus Akersen wrote The Gold Mine Effect. Rasmus investigates how some nations and cities very often develop a wholly disproportionate quantity of great talent. He followed it up in 2016 with Hunger in Paradise on how highly successful organisations and brands can stay in the premier league by dealing with the challenge of institutional complacency.
Rasmus is the chairman of Danish Superliga side, FC Midtjylland, the club he has supported since he was a boy, and he’s a director of the English club Brentford FC, currently playing in the EFL Championship league. Both are celebrated as being amongst the world’s most innovative football clubs and especially recognised for their use of data to drive their decision making.
