David Landsman

Speaker Dr David Landsman is a former senior British diplomat and corporate executive whose primary specialisation is at the interface of business and (geo) politics. David Landsman asks what global political and strategic developments mean for the future of businesses and for investors. His experience enables him to answer questions such as ‘how can we take the frustration out of communication between business and government?’

David Landsman served as UK Ambassador in Albania and Greece and as Chargé d’Affaires in the former Yugoslavia. He worked on a range of European, defence and security issues including sensitive Counter Proliferation negotiations with Libya and with Iran. He was later Executive Director of the Tata Group’s holding company in Europe and has held corporate roles in marketing and in international public affairs. He chaired CII India Business Forum (IBF) in the UK from 2017 to 2019.
