Derek Bell

Derek Bell is a British born racing legend and the supreme endurance driver in racing history to date. He won the Le Mans 24 Hour race 5 times and the Daytona 24 Hour 3 times and racked-up an impressive series of sports car and endurance race wins, twice being World Sportscar Champion.

Derek began his career in 1964 winning his first race in a Lotus 7 at Goodwood. He raced in Formula One when signed by Ferrari, followed by a spectacular history in Porsche cars winning more races for them than any driver since. Derek was the ‘Ace Consultant’ for Bentley Motors as two Bentley cars went one-two in the Le Mans 24 Hour 2003 race. Derek is currently racing for At Speed Motorsports, in the Speed World Challenge GT Series, and providing live in-car commentary.

Derek’s intimate knowledge of motor racing and its history is extensive. His enthusiasm for the sport is contagious. He filmed Le Mans with Steve McQueen, set a world speed record and still enjoys racing at 200+ mph today. He is an iconic British sporting legend and top commentator for F1 races.

His charisma, inspirational and highly motivating style have impressed audiences in both the USA and Europe and he is now available to take engagements in the UK.
