She has also made significant contributions to policy-making and has been a strong advocate for true sustainability. In addition to her engineering expertise, she has showcased her passion for working with children and promoting scientific learning as co-presenter on BBC CBeebies’ Get Set Galactic, the science-based immersive TV gameshow launched in 2023.

Ayo has also presented for BBC Reel, BBC Bitesize, Smithsonian, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, Yesterday TV, Channel 5, ITN, and for Trimble. And Ayo’s dedication to STEM education extends to speaking for corporate clients, where she presents and produces great content for an adult audience on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

She is the also creator and host of the Wednesday Wisdoms podcast and the Everyday Science series. Ayo’s incredibly diverse experience includes serving as former Deputy Mayor of Reading. During her time in the role she founded Plastic Free Caversham and successfully achieved single plastic free accreditation for Caversham in 2022.

Ayo’s skills extend to specialised executive coaching. As someone diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, she brings empathy and inspiration to her work on neurodiversity and mental health. Her experience will be published in print in her book Othered: How to Thrive & Disrupt in Spaces Not Created for You.
