Victoria Derbyshire

Victoria Derbyshire is a superbly accomplished and highly informed presenter in broadcast settings and on the event stage. She is one of the famous faces of British broadcast television.

Victoria’s career began on local radio and has taken her to her own eponymous Victoria Derbyshire national current affairs programme. The show ran from 2015 until 2020, five days a week and covered some very controversial aspects of the news and society running on BBC2 and the BBC News Channel. The BBC described it as ‘the centre-piece of domestic daytime TV news’ and as their first ‘digital first’ television production. From September 2022 Victoria was appointed co-presenter of BBC2’s Newsnight.

Victoria is a brilliant panel moderator and conference leader – she hosted the 2024 NHF/CIH Housing Community Summit in Liverpool at the ACC in September 2024.
