Katie Perrior

Speaker Katie Perrior is the founder and Chair of iNHouse Communications, the only female-owned and managed agency in Westminster.

In a two decade career at the heart of politics Katie Perrior has advised parliamentarians on both sides of the political divide. She ran the PR campaign for Boris Johnson’s successful London mayoral run in 2008. And she became the first female Director of Communications at 10 Downing Street during the time of Theresa May succeeding Craig Oliver.

Katie served as Deputy Head of Press for ITV News and as Head of Press for Channel 4 News. She’s a former non-exec director for a London NHS Trust. Katie was appointed by Prime Minister David Cameron to the board of one of England’s garden cities and was a cabinet member for more than a decade in one of the boroughs of London with responsibilities that have included community affairs, housing, and children’s services.

Katie Perrior now provides crisis management, campaigning expertise and strategic senior counsel to corporate and public affairs clients across technology, FMCG, food and beverage, education, infrastructure and transport. Katie has written for The Times and for Politico and hosts radio shows on Times Radio and Talk Radio. As a political commentator she appears on BBC, Sky News, ITV, Channel 4 News, and on LBC.
