Helen Bailey

Helen Bailey

Helen is an advocate of Host Leadership which has been hailed as ‘A new paradigm for leadership’ by the Huffington Post. A successful 20 year career in banking set Helen up for the next stage of her working life. As a manager she was introduced to Coaching as an approach to managing people before a senior management role added Organisational Change to the mix.

Armed with these experiences and a coaching qualification Helen set up her own coaching practice and over the last 12 years she has delivered Leadership and Management Development work in a wide range of sectors including: Legal and Accounting Professional Practices, Higher and Further Education and a multitude of SMEs.

Helen combines her practical experience with ongoing learning, most recently completing an MA in Developing Professional Practice, specialising in Organisational Change and Collaboration. Her experience across many different organisations has revealed patterns and challenges that are common to all shapes, sizes and sectors. However she weaves together a unique mix of appropriate solutions to meet the challenges of growing and changing each organisation.

Her over-riding learning is that it is time for a new approach to Leadership and Change: one that’s about collaboration, coaching and influencing or HOSTing!Helen Bailey book image

Helen co-authored ‘HOST: The six new roles of engagement (for teams, organisations, communities and movements)’ which was released in October 2014. The HOST metaphor is well illustrated with Host Leaders of our time yet it is also packed with practical examples.

Helen understands the challenges of moving to a new way of leading. If you are ready for it she will help you through it.
