She is absolutely passionate about cooking – she has written five cookbooks presenting accessible, simple, delicious ways of cooking, and is a national voice in authentic Indian cooking and a champion of her heritage cuisine.

Nisha is also a high profile advocate for entrepreneurship and business, particularly for women in business. She encourages female entrepreneurship and leadership, offering real-world insights, born of experience, into starting, scaling, and sustaining a business using a maternal model of management.

Hospitality wasn’t Nisha’s first career. Before launching Mowgli in 2014, she built a successful working life as a barrister, path that shaped her analytical thinking, resilience, and her approach to change.
