Reverend Richard Coles

Reverend Richard Coles follows the fine tradition of the English clergy – just a little eccentric and uniquely interesting. As a musician in the 1980’s, he was one half of the pop duo The Communards. As a journalist and broadcaster, he is the presenter of BBC Radio 4’s Saturday Live, presents BBC One’s Big Painting Challenge and regularly features on current affairs and satirical output, including the benchmark for witty people, Have I Got News for You.

His exploits are remembered in his bestselling book of memoirs, Fathomless Riches: Or How I Went from Pop to Pulpit and Bringing in the Sheaves. His speaking topics cover diversity and inclusion, trust and ethics, and building communities. He is also a highly trusted and very amusing awards host and compere.
