The UK government has announced that the country will, by 2050, be the first G7 nation to make net zero emissions part of law. But the Chinese and Indian economies are set to double in size by that time and the global challenge will be how to ensure a good life for a planet of possibly ten billion without massive additional quantities of greenhouse gases. Climate change speakers address the environmental, technical, strategic, economic and ethical issues around what may be the century’s greatest challenge. Speakers address how to deal with the consequences of a warmer world including changes to crops and farming and the increasing frequency of extreme weather and floods. Speakers are available for in-person and virtual webcast presentations.
