Sam Wilkin: speaker on risk and global politics.
Sam is director of political risk analytics for Willis Towers Watson, one of the world’s largest brokerage and consulting firms with more than 40,000 employees worldwide. Based in Washington, DC, Sam is responsible for advising Willis Towers Watson clients globally on the management of geopolitical issues and trends. Sam has more than twenty years of experience in political risk analysis and consulting, and is the author, co-author or editor of five books on populism and political risk. In 2017 and 2018 he was a visiting fellow at the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs at Brown University.
Sam also has more than a decade of experience as a professional public speaker, covering sensitive and controversial geopolitical topics with humor, clarity and insight.
Sam has previously served in leadership roles for two of the world’s leading political and economic research consultancies, Oxford Analytica and Oxford Economics. He received his M.A. in international relations from the University of Chicago and B.A. in economics from Eckerd College, and was the 2004 alumni fellow for Eckerd College.
