Iain Martin

Iain Martin is an author and commentator on politics and finance. His award-winning book on the financial crisis – Making it Happen: Fred Goodwin, RBS and the men who blew up the British economy – was published in 2013. He has written for the Financial Times, the Wall Street Journal, the Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph, and was editor of The Scotsman and then Scotland on Sunday (2001-2006).

His latest book is Crash Bang Wallop: the inside story of London’s Big Bang and a financial revolution that changed the world.

In 2016 Iain founded and is currently editor of pro-market news website Reaction with commentary and analysis on politics, economics, and culture.
