Dawn Harper

Dr Dawn Harper is a GP in Gloucestershire running specialist clinics focusing on women’s health and weight management. The rest of her week is spent talking and writing in the media on medical issues.

Dawn’s TV credits include Embarrassing Bodies on Channel 4 and the BAFTA winning Embarrassing Bodies Online, Looking Good, Feeling Great on ITV1 and Who’ll Age Worst on UKTV.

Dawn also regularly appeared on The Wright Stuff on Five, This Morning on ITV1, Women’s Hour on BBC Radio 4, and BBC Radio 1’s The Surgery.

She has written for Fresh Ideas, Healthspan, ZEST, Healthy Magazine and Now Magazine. Her book, Dr Dawn’s Health Check, is published by Mitchell Beazley.

Dawn Harper is a superb public speaker both hosting and moderating conferences on a full spectrum of medical topics and speaking on health related current affairs and hospital culture. She also regularly fronts medical programmes and is involved with health related PR activities and campaigns involving radio days and press briefings.
