Mark Williams

Mark Williams is definitely best known for his role as Arthur Weasley in the Harry Potter films as well as for his appearances on the The Fast Show and as the presenter of many TV engineering history documentaries.

Despite his brilliant career as an comedy actor and movie career, Mark’s first love is engineering and history – his early working life featured stints working as an electrician, carpenter, a builder and for a short while, artificially inseminating cattle!

Mark has presented a number of documentary series: Mark Williams’ Big Bangs on the history of explosives, Mark Williams on the Rails, Industrial Revelations and the follow-up series, More Industrial Revelations.

Mark’s documentary work is hugely informative, it’s passionately presented and is a tribute to the ingenuity of great engineers and engineering throughout history.
