Martha Lane-Fox (Baroness Lane-Fox of Soho) is a British businesswoman and philanthropist. Along with Brent Hoberman, Martha founded lastminute.com – a travel website that thrived in the dotcom boom and survived the crash before it was sold in 2005 for £577m.
Martha is a life peer in the British House of Lords and is a board member of Chanel, Twitter, and WeTransfer as well as serving as Chancellor of the Open University.
Martha also works with a host of charities, championing causes of social justice, human rights and women’s rights. She works with Antigone, Reprieve and Go ON UK amongst others.
