Luke Dormehl

Luke Dormehl is a technology author, speaker and journalist, with a background in documentary film.

Luke contributes to Digital Trends, and has written for Wired, Fast Company, the Guardian, Sunday Times and many other publications on technology and business strategy. His books include The Apple Revolution, The Formula: How Algorithms Solve All Our Problems… And Create More and most recently Thinking Machines: The Inside Story of Artificial Intelligence and Our Race To Build The Future.

He has spoken at events including WebSummit in Lisbon, London School of Economics, and has been interviewed on stage by Ed Vaizey, former Minister in the Department for Culture and Department for Business, about the future of artificial intelligence. Luke has also moderated at events, including chairing discussions between MIT’s engineering department and senior executives from Google.
