The European Free Trade Association is a free trade area of almost fourteen million people made up of Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland.
The European Economic Area includes all the counties of the European Union countries plus Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway. This allows them to operate within the EU single market.
